                            County Meeting News

After the attendance was done we had a ten minute open discussion. One of the topics that was discussed was the concerns on a blood drive. Lora McGeechan, a represenative of The Maine Blood Center, came to the meeting as a special guest speaker and gave a brief description about herself and the involvement of donating blood during the Bike/Car Show which will be held July 18th. Basically we are in need of 20 volunteers who would like to donate blood during the show. If you are interested in donating please let me know soon at , carlen853@aol.com.

We then talked about our thoughts on our first County shirt. Two members said they would like to work on a design. If all goes well we may have our first with in two or three months. If you would like to give some input on our shirt, please bring in a graphic design. It does not have to be perfect, but just some ideas to look at. The more we have to chose on, will give us more to look over and make a vote on.

John Hanson came to the meeting and gave a brief description about the PAC, ( Political Action Committee). The PAC meets once a month every fourth Sunday of the month at the Coach House restaurant from 1pm to 3pm over in Brewer.

It was also brought up to the attention that if any member unfortunately passes away, then we should make an effort to have that member recognized in some form at the funeral.

After the next meeting is over, we shall have our first County Auction.

                   PAC Meeting News

For those of you who are not aware of it.  There is a meeting held every 4th Sunday of the month.  It is the Political Action Committee, or known as the PAC.  It is held by John Hanson, Kathy Garber, and Ted Kimball.  When you became a member you should have been asked if you wanted one dollar to go to the PAC out of your membership dues.  If you said yes, then you would automatically be a member, where you can come to any PAC meeting.  The PAC primarily focuses on the Legislative business of biker's rights.  The next meeting will be February 22nd, from 1pm to 3pm.  For more information of where it shall be held you can contact me, Jay Jewell at 945-3489.
